I am looking forward to a great term, especially the speeches in week 9 and seeing all my parents/caregivers at the 3 Way conferences that same week also, following all of our Term 2 testing.
Below are some of the moments captured in Terms 1 & 2;
Rm 12 were invited to buddy up with Rm 11, to learn how to create origami ornaments, whilst acquiring new skills for future use, in particular – handmade gifts. Thanks to the patience and skills of Rm 11, we were able to create these cool decorative ornaments, with minimum ease, whilst having fun doing so.
On Tuesday the 3rd of May, Room 12 attended a touching tribute to the ANZAC soldiers who fought at Gallipoli in 1915, during World War 1. Thanks to the wonderfully creative skills and team work of the students, who made the beautiful wreath for us.

Devine and Anthony, our 2 very brave Room 12 representatives, proudly and carefully carried our wreath to its resting place as a tribute to the ANZAC soldier’s of Gallipoli.
House Sports
On Friday the 6th of May, WPS students were given the opportunity to don their house colours with pride, and earn their house points, during an outdoor sporting challenge. Unfortunately the rain came before anticipated and everyone made a quick retreat undercover, in the hall. Until next time..............GO KEA!!
As a celebration of NZ Music Month, Room 12 is learning all about the components of sound music.
Room 12 would like to thank and farewell Mr Lecture, who has taught music at WPS for many years. We would like to wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.
